Therapy

Our licensed physical rehabilitation professionals help patients recover from or adjust to the results of injury, disease or debilitating conditions. Treatment focuses on recovery to the fullest extent. Services offered include physical, occupational, and speech therapy up to 6 days per week.

Therapy

We know how important it is for older adults to maintain independence. That’s why Eckerd Living Center has partnered with CarePartners, a leading provider of therapy services. We offer wellness-centered rehabilitation services and health education.

The rehab team at Eckerd Living Center uses a proactive approach to senior wellness that can help you improve your overall health and wellness, manage your chronic conditions, and maintain your independence. Our goal is to help you achieve your highest possible level of independence. With three disciplines and a wide variety of services, our rehabilitation team is sure to create a specialized plan to help you succeed.

Physicial Therapy

Helps to restore and maintain maximum movement and funcational ability. For older adults, therapy can improve mobility, balance, range of motion, and physical strength.

Speech Therapy

Helps with all aspects of communication, including listening, reading, writing, and language interpretation. They can also assist with chewing and swallowing problems.

Occupational Therapy

Helps with quality of life, and can help people adapt to life changes and improve their funcaitonal abilites. OTs provide training and guidance on self-care skills such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
